Mercoledì 11 febbraio, Sleep Dose #157 (Cospirazione Del Silenzio).

Dallo Snow bunker fioccano 23 nuove tracce, pubblicate tra la fine del ’25 e questo inizio di ’26, ad accompagnare un testo di Barbara Bernardini che ha per titolo Il paesaggio che (non) ascoltiamo. Il rumore urbano, e più generalmente antropico, reca danno tanto alla nostra salute psichica quanto a quella degli ecosistemi. È calandoci nell’ascolto del silenzio naturale che possiamo trovare aiuto e rimedio; è nei boschi, sulle cime dei monti, in un sentiero che penetra la macchia mediterranea che possiamo ripulirci dalle tossine dell’inquinamento acustico che graffia i nostri sensi tutti, ma in particolare l’udito, strumento percettivo spesso fin troppo sottovalutato, a vantaggio della vista.
Cospiriamo dunque insieme, affinché input e output quantomeno si bilancino, e ascoltare diventi più importante che parlare.

Wednesday, February 11, Sleep Dose #157 (Conspiracy of Silence).

From the Snow Bunker come 23 new tracks, released between the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, with a text by Barbara Bernardini entitled Il paesaggio che (non) ascoltiamo (The Landscape We (Don’t) Hear). Urban noise, and more generally anthropogenic noise, damages our mental health as much as it does ecosystems. It is by immersing ourselves in listening to natural silence that we can find help and remedy; it is in the woods, on mountain tops, on a path through the Mediterranean scrub, on a desert beach that we can cleanse ourselves of the toxins of noise pollution that assail all our senses, but in particular our hearing, a perceptive tool that is often underestimated.
Let us therefore conspire together, so that input and output in our mind are at least balanced, and listening becomes more important than speaking.

Sleep Dose, a collection of oblique, abstract and mysterious music curated by NigNigNig, fluctuating between soundscapes, psychogeographies, future and past eras and stormy dream states.

Starting from an archive of over fifty thousand tracks, the selection of tracks, determined by a prior use of tags, follows a random pattern. The result is a playlist arbitrarily limited to a maximum of 23 tracks; each playlist is then randomly mixed and reprocessed through the use of effects.

The sequence of song titles creates involuntary forms of automatic poetry, offering moments of unpredictable lyricism and narrative coherence… as well as the flow of our personal dream world, not only during sleep.
